Customers and shop owners in Blue Area, Islamabad, are advised to follow the revised business timings issued by the Islamabad administration.
Under the current notification, all shops, markets and shopping malls in Islamabad are required to close by 8:00 PM throughout the week, including Saturday and Sunday. Food-related businesses, including restaurants, hotels, tandoors, grocery stores, kiryana stores, meat shops, fruit and vegetable vendors, and bakeries, are allowed to operate until 10:00 PM.
Essential services such as pharmacies, medical stores, hospitals, medical laboratories, petrol pumps, CNG stations, and milk/dairy shops are exempt from the 8:00 PM closure restriction. Takeaway and home delivery services are also not restricted under the notification.
Visitors are requested to plan their shopping accordingly and cooperate with market staff and local administration. Traders and customers should keep checking official updates from the Islamabad District Administration for any further changes.
